Clear at first sight.
The spelling, rhythm, and pronunciation should give a new brand a confident beginning.
A note on the collection
The library of names
NameTale is a curated library of distinctive domains. Each name is chosen for how it reads, how it sounds, and the room it gives a brand to grow.
The aim is simple: to help you find one name with the clarity and character to become the foundation of something lasting.
Provenance
NameTale draws from a collection assembled over more than two decades: years spent noticing which names endure, which date quickly, and which still leave room for a new idea.
The library is a deliberate edit of that larger collection. Rather than publish the archive whole, I am shaping it into a focused catalogue of names with clarity, character, and enough room for someone else to make their own.
Every published name is reviewed, and every inquiry is considered directly. NameTale is independent by design.
The edit
01 · Read
The spelling, rhythm, and pronunciation should give a new brand a confident beginning.
02 · Resonate
A name should suggest a useful emotional or cultural territory without relying on a sales pitch.
03 · Build
The strongest names point somewhere while leaving enough space for the right company to define them.
Acquisition
Every inquiry is reviewed directly. The usual path is a fresh Afternic checkout link. Escrow.com may be used when an inspection period or different terms are more appropriate.
Submit a non-binding purchase request, pricing question, or alternative offer. Availability and terms are confirmed before a transaction starts.
The usual route is a fresh Afternic Custom Checkout Link created for the agreed sale. Escrow.com may be used when an inspection period or different terms are more appropriate. The selected partner’s live terms govern verification, fees, taxes, transfer, cancellation, refunds, disputes, and settlement.
Eligible Afternic purchases can transfer automatically after payment. Otherwise, Afternic provides Transaction Assurance instructions. If Escrow.com is selected, the buyer first funds Escrow.com, then both parties follow the agreed transfer route and inspection period before settlement.
Acquisition FAQ
The NameTale website accepts only a non-binding inquiry. After availability and terms are confirmed, the usual route is a fresh Afternic checkout link. Escrow.com may be used when an inspection period or different terms are more appropriate. Payment is never sent to or collected by the NameTale website.
Afternic Custom Checkout Links are transaction-specific and valid for seven days. Escrow.com transactions are created for identified parties and agreed terms rather than through a permanent public checkout link.
Eligible Afternic purchases can use Fast Transfer, giving the buyer control of the domain automatically after payment. Otherwise, Afternic provides Transaction Assurance instructions. If Escrow.com is selected, the parties use an agreed account push or inter-registrar transfer.
Buyer and seller must follow the partner and registrar instructions shown for that transaction.
Afternic Fast Transfer: with prompt payment, a straightforward purchase often finishes within two days. Afternic says the domain itself reaches the buyer within minutes once payment is complete.
Escrow.com: for a straightforward same-registrar transfer with quick responses, roughly 2–7 business days is a reasonable planning range. Verification can take up to one business day, and a wire generally arrives in 1–5 business days.
An inter-registrar transfer can add up to five calendar days unless approved sooner. An Escrow.com inspection period adds the agreed review time. A registrar lock, verification issue, or slow response can extend either route.
An inter-registrar transfer can be blocked for 60 days after initial registration, a prior inter-registrar transfer, or some changes of registrant. When the registrar and partner permit it, an account push at the existing registrar may still be available.
The applicable registry, registrar, and partner rules control the available route.
The listed price is the amount the buyer pays for the domain. For a completed sale, the seller covers the Afternic or Escrow.com transaction fee from the sale proceeds, so no partner fee is added to that price.
If a different price is agreed or tax must be collected, the transaction partner shows the final total before payment.
The inquiry remains non-binding until both parties accept the selected partner’s live transaction terms. After acceptance, those accepted live terms govern cancellation and refunds. The NameTale website does not offer a separate cancellation or refund promise.
Afternic fixed-price checkout is binding and remains subject to Afternic’s cancellation, fraud, and marketplace terms. Escrow.com applies different cancellation rules before agreement, before funding, and after funds are secured, and its original escrow fee can be non-refundable.
Purchasing a domain transfers control of its registration as described in the partner transaction. It does not grant trademark, service-mark, business-name, copyright, or other intellectual-property rights.
Buyers are responsible for clearance in every relevant jurisdiction and for their intended use, and should obtain qualified legal advice where appropriate.
